CryptoDials as a Web 3.0 Lifestyle Brand
As a Web 3.0 brand, CryptoDials strives to deliver on being the leading watch brand in the crypto space, taking advantage of blockchain technology to ensure that rare physical products released by CryptoDials can be authenticated and a chain of title/ownership is established with the blockchain.
CryptoDials is more than a watch brand. We’re focused on providing a community which brings together like minded individuals from the watch, EDC and other niche hobbies; creating a space for community members to connect, interact and take their adventures to all new heights.
$DIALS and POAP Base Utility
Taking into consideration that traditional fiat currency is often a barrier to access in many exclusive communities, the CryptoDials team is committed to creating a safe, fun and inclusive space for all community members. By using POAPS, and our $DIALS ecosystem, we provide our members access to various aspects such as marketplaces, events and other utility. The $DIALS economy also rewards members for actively engaging in the channels, interacting with others and participating in our activities on Discord.
Genesis Collection
The 1,010 Genesis Collection will be a primarily generative collection of unique NFTs, algorithmically generated using a variety of traits. In this collection, 8 of these NFTs have been carefully designed by our founders and will be built and delivered to the holder of those NFTs shortly after the mint date.
All of the NFTs in this collection can be built by the holder of the NFT at the time of the release of our ‘Build’ token.
There will be one grail in this 1,010 collection that will mark the genesis of our brand. The lucky holder of this NFT in our genesis collection, will receive a very special 1/1 CryptoDials flagship piece with an incredible forged carbon case and Swiss movement.
Community Access
Our community will consist of multiple tiers including community members, holders, and Horologists. Community members who do NOT hold an NFT will have their benefits and utility defined using POAPS, $DIALS and Discord levels.
Despite not holding an NFT, CryptoDials is committed to offering our community as enriching an experience as possible. Community drops will be accessible on cryptodials.io for members at various levels.
Our community will include a tier of 50 Horologists which will be invitation-only. This group will be exclusive and the Horologists will be drivers of the CryptoDials community and tasked with maintaining the vision of the founders and playing an active role in the community. Horologists will be required to hold at least one of the genesis tokens to maintain their Horologist role.
Physical Releases
The CryptoDials team is committed to producing high quality timepieces which can be treasured by their holders and connect them with a community of like minded individuals.
The first physicals released will be eight 1/1’s, revealed in the genesis drop. These pieces will be produced with some of the rarest traits in the collection showcasing some of our unique custom parts and case shape, which will be revealed to the public as we progress through production.
Upon reaching full production capacity, we will release a ‘Build’ token that allows holders to apply it to a Genesis NFT, to create a ‘Built’ version. This redemption cannot be repeated or undone and each physically ‘built’ piece will have a QR-code laser etched on the caseback which will link to it’s NFT.
Upon the release of the ‘Build’ token, CryptoDials will reveal it’s Verified Modder program. While each of our ‘built’ physicals will be professionally assembled to be unique 1/1’s, 1,009 pieces in the Genesis Collection will be mod compatible. Our Horologists will identify a select number of modders from our community who have demonstrated their professional abilities and a commitment to the CryptoDials community to become verified service providers. A limited number of parts will then be offered in a gated drop, allowing Verified Modders in our community to purchase parts and offer customization services for your Genesis pieces.
Immediately, upon completion of the production of our forged carbon cases, the 1/1 will be delivered to the holder of the ‘Grail’ NFT in the collection. We will then release our second CryptoDials NFT drop together with the first production run of our flagship in forged carbon with a Swiss movement. Limited to 50 pieces, each watch will include an airdropped NFT.
This drop will initially be offered to our 50 Horologists, who must be holding at least one genesis NFT at the time of release.
If a Horologist who holds the wallet max of 3 genesis NFTs passes on their opportunity to purchase a piece, they may nominate a member of the community to access that piece. Remaining purchase offerings, if any, will be offered to community members who hold the wallet max.
The third physical watch release will be a titanium cased edition of our flagship model. The edition size will be based on demand and will be determined at a later date.
As we understand that not every member who is #DIALEDIN may be interested in owning a physical watch, we will be opening a merch store which will include a variety of items available exclusively for purchase by members of our community. Development and manufacturing of merch we know you’ll love is currently underway so look forward to more updates.
